It’s been almost a year since Korean rockabilly pioneers The Rocktigers (including members Tiger, Eddie, Roy and Jeff) were reborn as Street Guns. Since then they’ve been hard at work writing new material and playing red-hot club shows all over Seoul, giving charismatic young vocalist Chulsoo plenty of time to perfect his Elvis moves and biker jacket snarl. Recently the band started recording their first full-length album, due for release before the end of this year. But recording an album is an especially expensive process for an indie band, so they are calling on their fans to support them financially, by setting up a crowdfunding campaign. A growing trend in Hongdae, if you wish to donate (from as little as 10,000 won), you will be rewarded with all sorts of goodies, from Street Guns logo towels and badges to signed CDs, concert tickets and t-shirts. For the most generous of fans, a donation of 500,000 won will get you a private performance by Street Guns at an event of your choice!

To read more about Street Guns, dinf out how to donate, and what you get in return, go to (sorry, it is in Korean only. If you want to donate and need help please contact us, we will do our best to help you out). The deadline to raise the 5000000 won required is November 6th.
